Third-grade adventures – “Saudi Araibia” by Azan

The first day we got there my sister’s jacket went missing and we were looking for it everywhere for an hour but then we found it underneath all of the suitcases. We felt so silly.

I remember when I touched the Kabah it was amazing. The Kaaba is the first building made for worship by prophet Abraham who all Christians, Jews and Muslims believe in. It is part of my muslim religion to shave our hair after completing the pilgrimage and i was bald and remember touching my prickly hair. I remember it was so busy and my dad carried me on his shoulders. I felt so tall it was like I was a giraffe . I felt so tall. We also celebrated my great grandpa’s 80’th birthday there.

This was one of my favorite trips because my most favorite people in my family were there with me. I got to spend a lot of time with my parents and played a lot in the hotel and the food was so good. I also felt so good being there and felt peaceful when I did my prayers even though I didn’t know the words then.

This was the best trip because we prayed to God we did our pilgrimage and spent a lot of time together and had lots of fun.
