Third-grade adventures – “Fun in Singapore” by Aaryan

Boom! Boom! Have you ever swam in a thunderstorm? Well! I have! This happened when in 2019 we went to Singapore. My family and I went on a interesting trip to Singapore.

          One of my favourite parts was the food. We went to different hawker centres which are huge outdoor places for mainly seafood. They are known for sauté which is beef, chicken or seafood skewers and crab. I enjoyed eating the saute and crab. One day we went to this famous, fancy restaurant called jumbo Seafood. It was famous for their crab curry. I liked the hawker centers more because they have way more choices.

          I want to Universal Studios on Sentosa island. Universal Studios was very busy so we had to get the fast pass, which lets you go to the front of the line. Universal studios has many different rides which are all fun. My favourite rides were revenge of the mummy and sci-fi city roller coaster. I also enjoyed jurassic park because we were on a raft and got wet. At the end of the day, we were all tired and hot so we got delicious milkshakes.

        Another memory of Singapore was the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. When we drove up, we saw 3 very tall towers and the rooftop. The hotel had gardens filled with flowers and plants. They were clean and beautiful so we took many pictures. Next to the hotel was a massive mall with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants by the water. We went to an avenger station in the mall which had huge character models and clothing. There was also an avenger themed cafe but I thought it looked disgusting. I had another delicious milkshake which was chocolate Oreo.

        I would recommend that you travel to Singapore because it is a fun place. There are lots of different activities that you can enjoy. The weather is fantastic and warm. You will definitely not go hungry in Singapore.
