Third-grade adventures – “Family trip Maui” by Gioya

I was 6 years old and my sister was 8 years old when we went to Maui. I was so excited for our family trip that I almost forgot to pack my bag! We finally got through all the computer problems, and I was so hungry. Meanwhile my mom was ordering yummy food. I was playing with my sister, we were playing tag around the bench my dad was sitting on. Finally the food got there and I ate it all up in one second.

Finally we got to the resort and it looked like the funnest place ever I had no idea what to do first but my dad said

“let’s go check out our room so we can put our bags down”so we went to our room and I only saw one bed but then I noticed that there was a bed on top of the fireplace. There were only two beds and we are a family of four so that means that me and my sister had to take turns sleeping with our mom and dad or me and my sister could sleep together.

After we sorted the problem we went out to see all the other things. There were pools,slides and even a waterfall pool. It was amazing. First I had to try the waterfall pool because it looked so fun so we got in our bathing suits then we went on a donut slide. I went with my mom and my sister went with my dad. It was so fun and at the end we came to a big splash. Finally we went back to our room we brushed our teeth,put our pyjamas on and went to bed. My sister was the first one to wake up. Our mom and dad were still sleeping so we watched TV. It took almost 1 hour for them to wake up.

We ate breakfast then me and my sister went in the pool with our mom and dad but this time it was a different pool it had little things suiting in our faces there was a little slide and a playground in the water. It was so fun, mostly the slide when we got all dried we had lunch. Me and my sister saw a deep pool and a rope that you had to swing on so I asked my mom if we could do it and she said no because we were too little. That’s when me and my sister got really mad. We were just going to our room but our mom stopped and said “let’s go get a movie” so we went to a store and rented a movie. It was mickey mouse. When we got to our room we ordered room serves for dinner and we went to bed.

I loved it at Maui. It was really amazing and I hope one day we will come back and there will be some thing we didn’t see or do before.
