Third-grade adventures – “The trip to the US!” by Julia

Last summer me and my mom went to San Jose, USA to visit my uncle, my auntie and my new baby cousin. At the time I was 7 years old, the plane ride took only 3 hours.

July 2019 – When we got to the airport in San Jose I was so excited when I saw my uncle because I only see him and my auntie 1 time per year on Christmas Eve. In the car my uncle gave me a super yummy waffle that he had gotten before and it was green for some reason.

When we got to my uncle’s house my baby cousin was napping so then me and my mom unpacked our suitcases, by the time we were done unpacking my cousin was almost done with his nap, so me and my uncle played some Nintendo switch and by the time we were done my baby cousin was awake.

The next day me and my mom went to the mall because we wanted to get some things. We got myself some new running shoes and on the way out I saw the most amazing thing ever!  Bungee cord trampoline jumping. When we got back I played with my cousin. He likes sitting up and not getting carried in my arms while I am sitting down.

That was my favourite trip, one because I got to see my uncle, my auntie and my new baby cousin and two I got to spend some time with my mom and not my brother or anyone else that lives in my house.
