Welcome KLM and Air France Clients

If you require COVID-19 testing for your upcoming trip, we will make this process easy for you!

We provide PCR/NAAT COVID 19 nasal swab testing for border entry requirements. This test and our health certificate are accepted at international destinations. The samples are analyzed in an accredited laboratory (LifeLabs).   Your health certificate and lab report will be emailed to you when we receive your test result from the laboratory.  We do not analyze the samples in our clinic.

The fee is $340 ($55 discount vs regular fee when showing your KLM or Air France ticket). If you’d like further information about COVID-19 testing in our clinic, please see the FAQ section. TravelSafe Clinic follows the BC Ministry of Health guidelines to avoid the transmission of COVID-19.

FAQs

COVID-19 Testing by Nucleic Acid Tests (NATs)

Nucleic Acid Amplification testing (NAT, or PCR tests) detects RNA specific to the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 infection, after RNA has been extracted from a specimen and tested in a laboratory.  This test has a high sensitivity and detects the virus when the virus is present. A positive test result indicates a person likely has an active infection and can give the virus to others.   The NAT/ PCR test does not confirm if a client has COVID-19 antibodies (a history of COVID-19 disease in the past).

A sample is obtained from both nostrils using a swab and collection device. The sample is sent to an accredited laboratory (LifeLabs) for analysis.

TravelSafe Clinic follows strict precautions to avoid transmission of COVID-19 disease and follows all health authority guidelines.  Our health care professionals wear recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe and clean environment in our clinic.
